Just a half-block from the port, is Corrientes first backpacker hostel in town: Bienvenida Golondrina. It is a tranquil destination for migratory golondrinas (swallows or backpackers) to rest before continuing their journey to Iguazu, Salta or Esteros del Ibera.
Its century-old building has been carefully restored. Paintings of the river brighten the lobbys windows.
The property has many quiet sitting areas, interior patios and a rooftop terrace where guests may write letters, read or just relax. The four to six person dorms have sturdy bunk beds with lockers.

Directions
The Hostel is located among the cultural and historical core of the city, in front of the Paraná river and half block away from de urban bus terminal called: 'El Puerto'. Most of the public buses end and begin their trips there.
From the bus station: Getting off the main bus station, you´ll see the 103 bus stop. It will take you 15´ to arrive to 'El Puerto'. Don´t forget to bring coints to pay your ticket -around 2 pesos-. Next to the bus stop, you may see taxi cabs as well, you should´t pay more than $25 to get to the Property -La Rioja 455-.
By car: Just follow the river side until 'El Puerto' and soon you´ll find La Rioja street in the corner.
