Seakunga offers camping, dorm style lodging and private cabanas RIGHT ON THE BEACH! We are located 1 mile north of the airstrip at the beach town of Placencia. We have hot water, kayak rentals, restaurant & bar, and numerous adventure tours.

Our facilities have been created in the beautiful natural setting of the Placencia peninsula. We are surrounded by lots of coconut palms, oaks, cashew trees, almond trees and colourful gardens. Awaken to the soothing sound of the calm Caribbean waves and enjoy a hot cup of coffee with a delicious breakfast served at our thatch roof restaurant/bar overlooking the sea.

Our active adventure concept will not let you get bored providing you with sea kayaks, windsurfboards, hobie cats, kiteboards, wake boards and beach cruiser bicycles so you can do your own exploring of the neighboring villages, get a work out and perhaps do a bit of barhopping.

After an exploratory day you can just lay on a hammock by the beach and allow us to take care of you with refreshments from our bar and/or with local Belizian dishes.

Directions

All buses to Placencia pass by Seakunga. Just ask the bus driver to stop at Seakunga sign and walk 300 meters towards the beach. We are barely south of the village of Seine Bight, look for us on the left as you are coming in.

If you're arriving to Placencia via water taxi from Mango Creek, please call us in advance at +501 664 4630 to arrange free pick up service.
