The guesthouse is in a safe middle class neighborhood.
The location is great, we are 4 blocks from Pelourinho, the center of Salvador's night life
1 and one half blocks from a supermarket, Bakeries and small market are from 1 block to 3 blocks away.
Restaurants 1 to 2 blocks away with one of Salvador's better restaurants only 2 blocks away
Several local bars spread throughout the neighborhood nearest 2 are 1 block away

Directions
By cab or bus from the airport or bus station head for the Centro Historico and Praca de Se to enter Saude from Pelourinho Cross Pelourinho to the neighborhood of Saude.
Head for Baixa Sapaterios (runs between the neighborhoods of Saude and Pelourinho) and enter Saude at Ladeira da Saude go straight to the square and the church then take a right next to the German Consulate.
