Phnom Penh has been lacking in great, sociable backpackers spots since Boeung Kak lake was filled in and the backpacker area of the Lakeside was lost. The Eighty8 maintains the low prices that Lakeside had to offer, but with the facilities, cleanliness and hygiene standards that will set new standards for budget travelling throughout South East Asia!
We have a selection of rooms including clean dorms and private rooms with A/C and hot water, some shared facilities and some ensuite. All beds are bedbug free so you never have to worry about creepy crawlies.
We Strongly advise that you use our free bus depot pickup! For a free pickup please email us in advance to provide us with the bus company or boat company that you are travelling with so we can make arrangements to have you delivered safely to The 88 Backpacker Resort. For those of you who are arriving via Flight we also offer a pickup service which is $7us for a Tuk Tuk and $10us for a Taxi from the airport. Airport services are the same price as our pickup service but will not guarantee a hassle free ride to the hostel. ( they will do everything in their power to take you to an alternative guest house for commission )
If you would like to make your own way to The 88 Backpacker Resort, we are situated on street 88 #96-98 which is off Monivoung Blvd.
