Hofang youth hostel is located in Dajing Street, nestled between two of the most famous old pedestrian streets, and one restaurant-street, in Hangzhou. The area used to be the imperial center of the Latter Song (Nan Song) Dynasty, and the street where the hostel is (where much of the history and culture remain) is also the one that is full of restored old buildings, with lots of character, identifying it with the traditional Yangtze Delta.
The hostel is only a couple of hundred meters from any of these tourist attractions: The Historical Gate, The Traditional Chinese Medical Museum, Hu Xueyan's Residence, the Pedestrian Hefang & Imperial Streets. A short 5-minute walk will take you to either Wushan Square or Intime Shopping Mall from the hostel, and it takes 15 minutes by foot to West Lake. The hostel is about 1.7 kilometers from the main (central) Hangzhou railway station - an 11 yuan taxi fare. There are lots of buses nearby to places of attraction, shops and etc. - it's an extremely conveniently place to hang out!

The hostel has a courtyard in the central area, as well as a paved outdoor patio, with white walls, a traditional roof with Chinese tiles, and a pomelo tree. There are Chinese loft rooms, with exposed wooden beams, private and shared dorm rooms available to guests - who often keep returning from all over the world! We have a cozy café / bar inside, offering both Asian & Western food and drinks.

FREE WiFi is available in the cafe / bar, the shared dorms, and also in the communal area - where there is a mini pool table for relaxing and meeting fellow guests. Private rooms have both FREE internet access, with a cable. Facilities of the hostel include security keycard, heater / Air Conditioner, complimentary use of a towel, slippers, and both shared & private hot showers accessible 24 hours per day. Free luggage storage is provided at the reception. Barbecue facilities and laundry service with extra charges are also available.

Hofang International Youth Hostel
Address: No.67 Dajing Xiang, Hangzhou

The hostel is in the pedestrian area. Take a taxi to the Historical Gate (or Drum Tower/Gulou), and walk into the pedestrian area through the gate after you get off the taxi. Turn left both at the 1st and 2nd juncture, 200m to No.67 of Dajing alley. We are a glass door where there is a name board with two big Chinese characters above it.

From Main Railway Station:
It's 1.7 kilometers from the hostel. Walk to Hefang Street and straight down it 1.2km until the McDonalds on the pedestrian section after the highway. 30m further more, turn left to No.67 of the small alley. It is a 20 to 25 minute walk, approximately.

Or you can take Bus 7/K7, 2 stops to the stop of Mid Zhonghe Road/Zhonghe Lukou, 30m further more, cross the road, walk 800m straight down till the last McDonalds; or 11rmb by taxi from the station to Gulou.

From South Railway Station:
Take Bus 301/K301, 20 stops to Gulou stop, 30m further more, cross the road, 100m further more to the 1st cross after the McDonalds, turn left, 30m further more to No.67 at your right side; it's also 65-75rmb by taxi from the station to Gulou within 30-35mins.

rom Hangzhou Airport:
Take shuttle bus to the Main Railway Station, then either walk or take a bus or cab to the hostel; 110rmb by taxi approx from airport to the historical gate/Gulou.

From West Coach Terminal Of Hangzhou:
Take Bus 102/K102 to Wulin Men stop, switch to bus 13/K13, get off at Gulou stop, walk backward and turn left to the Historic Gate(Gulou), walk through the gate to the hostel; or take Bus 102/K102 to Qingbomen stop, walk backward to the T cross at the Aston Martin shop, turn right, walk 1.2km straight down till the TCM before the McDonalds, turn right, 30m to No.67 of the alley at your right side.

Or it's 45-55rmb by taxi from the terminal to Gulou.

From North Coach Terminal Of Hangzhou
Take Bus 188/K188 to Kaiyuan Lu stop, switch to Bus 8/K8 and get off at Gulou stop, walk backward and turn left to
