Welcome to Oak Inn, a homey & comfortable hostel. Oak Inn is run by a couple of Christian from Guangzhou, South China. You can get a truly relax here and have a good rest.
Oak Inn is located at Shuhe Old Town, Lijiang City. It is just 2 minutes away from Small Stone Bridge on foot. It is a typical Naxi local style - the building is wooden with 2 floors. There are 10 standard rooms (one is triple room, the other 9 are double-room, and each one has individual wash-room). There is 24-hrs hot water supplied for body wash, free wireless net work, comfortable bedding, P&G brand shampoo and body wash, and self-help laundry, hair dryer, all of the above services are FREE!
For Sanitation, we insist to clean up every room once after travelers check out, to ensure every room is neat & tidy. For meals, you can help yourself to make it as there is kitchen and pantry in the hostel or you can place order in advance to try typical Cantonese foods made by us. If you want to have meals outside, it is convenience as there are many restaurants close to the inn, 3&5mins on foot.
In the middle of the inn there is a sunny yard, around the yard are different plants such as apple tree, cherry tree, pomegranate tree and many various flowers. A man-made brook is streaming around the yard, with some fishes inside. The yard is fit for chatting and rest in it, and also a good place for kids to play in it. Besides the yard, we have an in-house living room, you can watch movie or reading here, we also have both Chinese and English books provided.
We named Oak Inn, first is because we like oak tree has strong and long life, and its big crown can benefit many creatures. Second, is from Bible, Genesis Chapter 18, Abraham met Lord and His angel by oak of Mamre, and got the blessing from the Lord there. We named Oak Inn hints that we will follow the model of Abraham, about his faith, obedience and show hospitality to strangers.
There is no double that Lijiang is one of the most beautiful places in China, it has beautiful signs, flash air and kindness peoples. If you touch down at Oak Inn, we can provide our opinions that fit for you to travel around - as you know, there are different attractive places nearby are worth to go.

1.If you come to Lijiang by Train, take No. 13 bus to Wan Ke Long supermarket firstly, and then take taxi/bus No. 11 to Shuhe Old town main gate, we can pick you up there.
2.If you come to Lijiang by Air, you can take shuttle bus to Lijiang City, and then take taxi/bus no. 11 to Shuhe Old Town main gate.
3.We provide the pick up service to you no matter you come by train or air.
