We are a small family run hostel with a different twist on hosteling. We are not just a hostel, but it is our home. A place you can feel at home and not be just another number at a hotel. Welcome to our home-hostel!

We are located in one of the last old parts of Xiamen, come see the way China used to be everywhere 50 years ago. Experience the old Xiamen before it disappears!

Just a 5 minute walk to the ferry port to Gulangyu Island and Zhongshan shopping street. We have a large rooftop garden with a view of the city and harbor, Wireless Internet, Big community kitchen. We are next to the Kaihe wet market which is one of the largest open air food markets in China with LOTS of fresh seafood and veggies. You can also eat some the cheapest food in China at many small local eateries.

Our hostel is in a maze of small alleys, that even the local get lost in.

We are near the intersection of Xiahe road (厦禾路) and Kaihe Road (开禾路)


From the Train Station:
- Taxi is the quickest and will cost around 12 RMB,
- By bus, in front of the station is an elevated road for buses called the BRT system. Buy a .5 RMB ticket you can take any bus #3, #2 or #1 to Kaihe Road (开禾口路) only 5 stops.

From airport:
- Taxi is the quickest and will cost around 35-40 RMB.
