Looming Hostel is one of the first environmentally friendly boutique hostels in Estonia.

'Looming' in Estonian means 'Creation or artwork' - that is why everything is in constant change here.

Looming hostel offers a new artistic style of accommodation in Tartu - cosy, warm and clean guest rooms are all created by different artists - everything we use for decoration is 99 % reused! We prefer natural materials, small ecological footprint, creativity and fun!

Our guest rooms and large common room are located on the attic floor of Young Estonian Creativity Center - where you can see and visit different workshops, events, fairs and festivals. There is a printing museum downstairs, the building is also a home to a paper museum, wood-workshop, designers, tailors and fashion designers.

There is a kitchen for self-catering, with all necessary equipment, free WiFi everywhere, free parking, large common room with a hammock, sofas, books and games.
Brand new hot showers are now located on the same floor as rooms!

Directions

Looming Hostel is located in Kastani 38.
If you come from the bus station, go to the big crossroad and take the Riia street and walk up to Riia hill. After the red-brick Church on your right hand, turn right on Kastani street. Kastani 38 is on your right hand.

If you come from the train station and reach the street, turn right, walk one block and turn left to Tiigi street. Walk again one block and turn right to Kastani street . Kastani 38 is a green Art Nouveau style bulding on your left hand.

Go through the gate - door to the hostel is in a right side of the building. Up to the stairs all the way to the attic.
