Discover history and the peace of rural life in Gascony. Tolou Bas is a nineteenth century Gascony farmhouse that has been carefully restored to offer modern and comfortable facilities. It is located at the end of a quiet lane and is surrounded by meadows and forest. The house has large gardens and a small peaceful wooded area to wander through, as well as a beautiful reservoir 15 minutes walk through the woods.
The house has four ensuite bedrooms (one on the ground floor), two double rooms and one twin room. Meals are served in the large kitchen or in the garden with views over the countryside. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen to make tea and coffee at anytime.
It's the perfect place to unwind, and get away from the stresses and noise of modern life.
The small hamlet of Gazax et Baccarisse is situated just 11 km from Marciac where there is an international Jazz festival. It is also close to Mirande for the Country and Western festival and Vic Fezensac with its Latino festival. The nearest train station is at Auch, the capital of the Gers less than an hour away.
Wireless internet is available.
Check in time is after 16.00 and check out time is 12 midday.
The breakfast is a continental breakfast which includes fresh fruit and home made jams.
