Located just outside Kilkenny, Lichfield House is set in an attractive red-brick Georgian house, surrounded by an acre of well-kept gardens.

We have three cosy en-suite guest rooms, all with lovely garden views. All rooms have central heating and are equipped with televisions, hairdryers and tea/coffee-making facilities. A ground floor room is available on request, and the whole property is non-smoking.

An extensive breakfast menu is served in our sunny dining room, with vegetarian options available on request. Guests can make use of the peaceful surroundings by enjoying a picnic under our old willow tree, while children play safely in the garden.

Lichfield House is located just a 5-minute drive from Kilkenny. Private parking is available, and we also offer a pick-up service from the train or bus station, for those who want to leave the car at home.

Take a trip to St. Francis's Abbey Brewery or stroll around the grounds of the magnificent Kilkenny Castle. The nearby Slieveardagh Hills are perfect for hill-walking, while the River Nore is a great spot for fishing. Golfers can choose from a variety of courses, and if you fancy a drink and a meal then Kilkenny city is ideal.
