Scogliera Azzurra is a modern camping village just a few metres from the sea, with ample spaces available, indeed it's a site with 40 pitches and 15 chalets with verandas ideal for a relaxing holiday in close contact with nature and beside the sea.
The Campsite is strategically positioned allowing you to experience the beauty of the "Costa Degli Dei'' the "Coast of the Gods". It actually situated just a few metres from the crystal clear water, set amongst a green area, rich in the typical plants (olive and citrus), and steeped in history and culture.
The location of the Campsite just 7km from Tropea, means that there are many places of interest within easy reach. Such as the islands of Eolie, la Sila, the National Parks of Pollino and Aspromonte, the Magna Grecia Museum of Reggio Calabria, Stilo, Gerace, and the Certosa di Serra San Bruno. You can take in a new piece of scenery and discover a new taste of our splendid region every day.
The Facilities
Modern chalets with veranda are available. Set amongst a shaded area, each is fitted with all comforts. Sleeping 2,3, or 4 people in 2 separate rooms: bedroom, living room with kitchen corner and bathroom. veThe chalets are fitted with a furnished veranda with table and chairs, offering you maximum comfort for an unforgettable holiday.
The Campsite also has a modern wash area, which meets also the requested specification of the ANWB, there are bathroom cabins with sinks and accessories.
Some of the pitches are fitted with electricity point to the CEE norms, (please request at the time of booking).
The Campsite also allows dogs.
The Campsite also has a Bar and Minimarket. Prices are kept in line with local shops. Pizza and other dishes are available to eat in or take away. Bread, pastries and typical produce (fresh mozzarella, salami, vegetables, etc) can be reserved the night before for the next morning. The opening times of the Bar/minimarket vary depending to the season. The bar is a pleasant meeting place, from time to time there is also live music.
