Food such as rice, bread, eggs, vegetables, soup, butter, is possible to take. We also provide rental bicycles and coin laundry. The friendly owner Ken, brought up in Hawaii speaks good English. We are super-conveniently located in the heart of Tenjin area, the biggest downtown area of Fukuoka city. All departments stores and clubs are here. There are convenience stores, supermarkets, hospital, drugstore, bank and family restaurant - all close by. If you need a visa to go to Korea or Taiwan we can take you with our car to the embassy.
Breakfast - 200yen / Dinner - 300yen
If you are looking for a reasonable place to stay, Aloha Spirit is absolutely the right choice! for long stayers, we offer big discount more. If you stay more than a week you will get a 10% discount, more than 2 weeks 25%, more than 1 month 50%. 1 month stayers only pay 1100 jpy a day.
We have 5 dorm rooms, suitable for both short-term and long-term stay. The rooms are cleaned everyday.
For shared facilities, we have, kitchen, laundry machine, microwave, refrigerator, rice cooker, toaster, tableware, bath, toilet, shower, hair-dryer, Internet, rental bicycle.
We are a very international guest house. We welcome guests from all over the world. Our owner was born in Japan, but lived in Hawaii and US more than 30 years. He speaks both English and Japanese, and some Korean.
Payment to be made by Cash Only. Thank you. There are many ATMs around the hostel.
Access:
The nearest subway station is Tenshinminami Station. Tenshin Station and Watanabedori Station are also very close. All 3 stations are only several minutes walk to our place.
If you walk along the main street, Watanabedori, we are located south of the Daimaru Department Store, at the back of the convenience store Mini Stop. On the other side of the Watanabedori is Loft Department Store. When you see the Docomo Shop, go south and turn left, walk another 100m and turn right.
If you would like to learn Japanese you can go to a language school for 33000jpy a month.
