Hotel Festival Plaza hosts events from large open venues for concerts, live performances and exhibits to ballrooms for Conferences, Quinceaneras and Bachelor Parties. Because of our excellence in cuisine, we have received several awards in catering services. We have served to TITANIC movie stars, food fairs, government banquets, etc.
For recreational activities, Hotel Festival Plaza can take you for a tour to the vineyards, a day off fishing, arts &crafts shopping, horse riding on the beach, ocean view golfing, visit to the fishing village Popotla, visit to the lobster village Puerto Nuevo, site seeing whales, mountain biking and more!

Directions
By bus:
First you should find your way to the town of Matehuala (buses run daily from most cities of the republic).
Once you have arrived at the Central Bus Station in Matehuala, there are buses that leave from there for Real at 8 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM and 6 PM.
Everybody gets off the bus at the entrance of the tunnel, then people walk the dark couple of miles to reach the town of Real de Catorce, or you might want to commute to a small bus (no extra charge) that can navigate the narrow bends of the tunnel.
By Car:
after Matehuala drive towards Cedral on road 62, the road to Real de Catorce is on your left 10 km after Cedral. Just drive up the pebble road until the tunnel, cross it and... you're in!
We are located in Morelos #20 (between the church and the plaza, on your right
walking down the main street -Lanzagorta-) and in Juarez #1 (Just behind the Town Hall, same plaza as the church).
Once you get to the Real de Catorce side of the tunnel just follow the main street, we're just after the church on your right.
