The hostel is within walking distance from downtown Ciudad del Este (aprox. 15 min). It's in a quiet and safe neighborhood, in a residential area, close enough to bars, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. We have a shared kitchen, a big living room, two beautiful terraces with a view to the city and a big patio with a grill, where you can make yourself a delicious "asado". There are shared rooms for up to 4 people, most of them with A/C. They all have shared bathrooms and there's Wi-Fi all around the house.
Close to the hostel, there are bars, restaurants and other conveniences. If you want to do some shopping, we can take you to Ciudad del Este Downtown, where you can find exactly what you're looking for and at a great price! The main attractions in the area are the Monday Falls and the Itaipu Dam, which is one of the seven modern world wonders. It is a shared project with Brazil over the Parana River, and can be visited by day or by night.

Directions

The street we are on has no name, so first find Avenida Los Yerbales, in Area 1. Then in Avenida Los Yerbales find Sport zone (well known gym) or the British School, these both are located 2 bocks away from the lake and right by each other. From there go up one block perpendicular to Avenida los Yerbales, the hostel will be on your left, you´ll see a sign.
If you're coming from the roundabout of Área 1 (on Av. Los Yerbales), it's two blocks before the lake, you'll see the sign of the British School, there you have to turn right and go up one block. If you're coming from the lake, it's two blocks and when you see the sign for the Brisith School, turn left and go up one block. The hostel is to the left, at the corner, and it's a white and green house with a green fence. There's a sign that says CDE Backpackers. If you're taking a taxi, you can give this address.

To get to Ciudad del Este you can fly to the Guaraní Airport (AGT) or to the airport in Foz do Iguaçu (IGU). You can come here by bus from any of the neighboring countries (ask us for the best ways to get here by bus!).
