The Sunshine Hostel, also known as the Sunshine Chalet, is a true labour of love for the mountains.

We decided to run our luxury chalet as a 'hostel' as we love the friendly, personal, open and informal attitude which people expect from hostels. Great places to meet people, make new friends and share wonderful experiences in our leisure time. Sunshine World and the Sunshine Chalet were created to help people have great experiences without having to pay pretentious prices. That's why we based ourselves in Poland rather than the Alps. It may be idealistic and maybe you wont believe it until you meet us.

For the last 4 years we have been renovating this beautiful property into what we believe is the coolest and best value winter ski chalet and summer base ever. Quite a boast maybe but just look at our prices, facilities and experience:

As additional facilities we have a Jacuzzi, professional home theater system, video games consoles, log fire place, ski and board room, brand new, fully equipped kitchen and WiFi wireless internet.

We have hostel style rooms with bunk beds and also two luxury apartments complete with brand new kitchens, en suite bathrooms and jacuzzi bath (in penthouse apartment) and massage shower (in downstairs apartment)

We were the first and are still the only licensed UK tour operator to organise full service, professionally run ski and snowboard holidays and summer activity holidays in Zakopane, Poland and city breaks in Krakow. All our holidays are delivered hands on by our very own Pro Team of internationally qualified sports and travel professionals.

Since 2005 we have now looked after more than 3,500 people who booked their holidays to Zakopane with Sunshine World. We have had many returning guests including a surprising number of 4-time return guests.

Directions

ON FOOT FROM TRAIN/ BUS STATION:
1. With the bus station on your right (visible from the train station) walk towards the main street Krupowki roughly 800m.
2. Turn right down the pedestrianised Krupowki high street and walk about 800m until you get to the road.
3. Turn left at the road and take the 3rd road on the left which is our road, Za Strugiem- keep walking about 200m down Za Strugiem and our building: 18B is on the right surrounded by a black metal fence and tall pine trees.

Look out for the lit up 18B sign and the wooden Sunshine World sign on our walls

By Car: It's always best to print out a map and directions or use a Sat Nav and just type our address: 18B Za Strugiem, Zakopane, Poland in.

We have organised probably more than a thousand airport transfers now and can guarantee the best price for private transfers and local transfers if you'd like to keep your arrival or departure simple. Remember we're in Poland so it's not expensive.
