Peniche Surf Lodge, offers,Cheap luxury accommodation and surfing lessons .A brand new beach side property in Peniche ,Owned and run by a family who love to surf ,travel and to meet new people from all over the world ,it is not just for surfers, everyone will feel at home in our comfortable,friendly and relaxed lodge, where you too can meet new friends. Here you will find deserted golden sandy beaches,gorgeous scenery, historic villages ,beautiful sunsets, sun, surf and experience Europes most consistent waves. We are situated a stone's throw from Portugal's spectacular Atlantic coast .Minutes from the 1st class wave spot Supertubos . Home to the Rip Curl Pro ,every October ,also walking distance to the other beaches and all amenities.
Peniche Surf Lodge is conveniently placed in Peniche town,which as well as consistent surf,and stunning beaches, there are many other activities and attractions ,the town is known for its fishing port and lace making skills ,there is a Mariner ,where you can catch a ferry to the beautiful Berlingas Islands, in the harbour are also many restaurants serving fresh traditional Portuguese cuisine at very low prices, a weekly market selling fresh local produce,the lodge is by 2 large supermarkets,with restaurants, shops ,bars and nightclubs within easy walking distance.
For Surfing we can provide equipment and lessons , There is a surf spot Papoa ,a semi reef opposite the Lodge , 200m down the road is The Bay a 3 km long golden sand and dune beach with surf all along for all levels of surfing ability and perfect for bathing ,we are also walking distance to Supertubos and Mohle Leste ,No.1 wave spot ,home to Rip Curl Pro.Experience the perfect Barrel!! We also offer to take you on surf surfaris up and down the coast,offer coaching,take photos and video footage to give analysis and edit a movie of your trip, We can provide airport transfers if needed.
Peniche is a very festive town throughout the year,there are lots of special events happening in and around the town,we can inform you of whats on and where to go .
Back at the Lodge,we have Sky and cable TV a selection of Dvds ,wifi and nintendo wii ,for your entertainment.

On the bus the first stop in Peniche is in the town (a bus stop). ,stay on the bus to go to the station of Peniche.
From the bus station main carpark:Turn right ,then right again,follow the road straight across the roundabout to the next junction ,you have Intermarche on your left.
The ocean across the road, this is the Bay.Turn left ,go 200m straight up the road across a mini roundabout until you see a yellow old water tower ,this is Papoa beach, we are across the road.
Look for a sign RUA DOS PESCADORES on the corner of the street ,on your LEFT opposite the water tower.We are the very next turning off the main road behind another hostel.

If you are in a car with GPS it may not show our street(casal do viola) but Av. Mariano Calado is the main road to be on, from the IP6 go straight ahead at thel3rd roundabout ,towards the centre and the hospital this is: Estrada Marginal Norte carry on ,pass intermarche on your left,beach on your right and enter the town gates go straight ahead across a mini roundabout up to the water tower ,opposite on the street corner is a sign Rua dos Pescadors we are behind another hostel ,take the very next left turn ( a driveway)from the main road.On the left is a sign Casal Dos Violas.
PenicheSurflodge is the street just before the junction of Estrada
Marginal Norte and Rua da Libertade (Ajuda), so you can set your GPS to bring you to this junction.
If you are in a taxi ask for Papoa Beach and by the Old Yellow water tower we are across the road behind a hostel just after Rua dos Pescadors.
