Our hostel is located in a house built by a famous Irkutsk merchant in 1803. In 2010 it was renovated but still keeps the spirit of old Irkutsk. We are situated in the city centre, 10 minutes from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the local bus station where you can take bus to lake Baikal: Olkhon island and Listvyanka.
We are happy to assist your during your stay and will provide you with any necessary information your need while here in Irkutsk. We can help to purchase train and bus tickets, pick you up from the airport or train station and give you inside information about interesting places to see in Irkutsk and at Baikal.

Most travelers arrive in Irkutsk by the Trans-Siberian Railway. It's about halfway between Moscow and Vladivostok in the east, which makes it a good place to break the trip, if only to stretch your legs and buy provisions. The Baikal-Amur Mainline also runs nearby.
