Amakaya Backpackers Lodge is a short 300 metres walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs of Main Street, Plettenberg Bay and only 800m away from the popular Central Beach.
We offer a variety of private rooms and dorms with both shared and en-suite bathrooms.
Our upstairs bar and open air veranda offers a magnificent view of the Tsitsikamma mountain range, the ocean and the bay. This is a great place to relax after a busy day or to watch the sunrise.
At night you can swop stories of your adventures while sitting around the bonfire or lazing in one of our hammocks.
Internet is available and our WiFi connection is available anywhere on the property.

Should you wish to show off your culinary skills to the other guests you are welcome to take charge of our fully equipped kitchen.
