Flims-Laax-Falera is very easy to reach by public transport or roads and is not far away from the country capital, named Chur. Also close to Laax is Vals, the famous thermal bath, build by the international known Swiss architekt Peter Zumthor.
The hostel is located near to Laax-Murschetg, the main cable car station with the public bus stop named 'Laax-Marcau'.
There are dialy and direct train connections to Chur from all major european cities (Paris, Milan, Vienna, Berlin, Amsterdam and Rotterda), from Chur to Laax is a hourly bus connection to Laax-Marcau up to midnight (see rail.ch or sbb.ch). The bus stop Laax-Marcau is only 100 meters from the hostel; watch out, Laax has 5 different named bus stops, maybe you ask the driver...
By car:
The hostel lays on the valley mainroad from Chur/Reichenau to Ilanz Disentis... take the exit Flims/Ilanz/Oberalp Pass from the highway N 13 after Chur... Flims has a new tunnel who leads you directly to the exit of the cable cars Laax Crap Sogn Gion, stay on the mainroad and 400 meters after this exit you take the next exit named Laax-Cons (right hand side) and turn hard right to the parking lot of Capricorn Hostel.
We have free parking lots... they are limited and we ask you to arrive with as less cars you can... or use the public transport...
