Located in Taroko National Park, close to Hualian in 45 km, Tienhsiang Youth Activity Center has been established from the beginning of the start of Central Cross-Island Highway, as the stopover place for travelers and hikers. For the purposes of offering better services, Tienhsiang Youth Activity Center was reestablished and won the best award of Architecture Magazine in 1979 after completion. This center has won the reputation of maze for the modern architecture and the stylish interior design.

Our center offer the services for social elites, students to travel in Central Cross-Island Highway. With modern refurbishment and state-of-the-art facilities, we offer the accommodation divided into 50 rooms, up to 240 people for lodging, and 240 people for dining and meeting in restaurants, lounges, Youth Cafeteria, etc..

Taroko National Park enjoys the worldwide reputation and Central Cross-Island Highway has made it easy to travel in Taroko. Tienhsiang is the biggest area as well as the flattest terrace on Central Cross-Island Highway, with the alluring views of XiangDe Temple, Mei Garden, WunShan Hot Spring, Green Water Path, etc.. Therefore, Tienhsiang has been the great stopover to Taroko National Park and Tienhsiang Youth Activity Center is your best choice on Central Cross-Island Highway.

Directions

Bus: Hualien Train Station before the exit there is a bus station. To take a bus from Hualien to Tienhsiang about 2 hours. A person $ 172. Departure time is: 06:30, 08:40, 10:50, 13:50, (10:50 and 13:50 hours will go through Sincheng train station) To the Taroko National Park is: 07:30, 09:40, 11:50, 14:50. Reach Tienhsiang. Walk about 10 minutes. Can reach the hostel. Tienhsiang to Hualien time:0910, 13:40, 16:40, 18:30
Parking: Parking at the hostel entrance. About 25 parking spaces on the outside. Bicycle can be parked indoor (not allowed to enter the room).

Rail: Taipei to Hualien by Tzu-chiang about 3 hours, you can take the rail in Taipei main station.

Airport: Hualien Airport to Tienhsiang distance of about 40 km. You can take a taxi to Tienhsiang. It cost about NT$ 1000 to $ 1200.'
