Directions

From Ataturk Airport:

It's a 30-minute taxi ride from the airport to Nisantasi Flats and it should cost around € 20-25, depending on traffic.

There are also buses and 'LRT' (light rail trains) from the domestic terminal into town.

The most reasonable is probably the official shuttle bus, (called 'HAVAS'):

It departs every half hour from the Airport (after 01.00 a.m, less frequently). The ride costs around €5 per person and the route it follows is as follows:

Ataturk Airport, Bakirkoy Sea Bus Pier, Coast Road, Aksaray, Tepebasi, Taksim Square.
The journey takes about 40 minutes and if the traveller jumps out at Taksim, a taxi to Nisantasi costs only €3-4.

The nearest ferry ports (for boats across the Bosphorus) are at Karakoy (to the south) and Kabatas (to the north). A taxi from the ferry ports to the apartment is about €10-11.
