We offer kosher breakfast and exquisitely decorated rooms and suites - our staff are very multilingual.

Levitt Hostel is the best located hostel in Sofia city centre. Situated in the heart of Sofia's main shopping, business and historical attractions, ours is the only hostel in Sofia positioned at the world-famous Vitosha Boulevard.

We're the only place in Sofia which offers kosher food for breakfast. We have 12 exquisitely decorated, stylish guest rooms and suites. Guests may request wake-up calls. We have smoking and non-smoking rooms, cable/satellite. The windows open in the rooms.

Our friendly staff speak Hebrew, English, Italian, Bulgarian and Russian, while our team of Swedish staff also speak Swedish, Norwegian, German and Spanish.

Nearby points of interest also include Opera House (300 m), the National Theater (150 m), Archaeological Museum (200 m), Serdika - Sredets Fortress (120 m), Russian Church (300 m), Presidency (100 m), Sofia University (370 m) and the National Palace of Culture (80m).

Please note that we're a quality youth hostel. Therefore there is a maximum age limit for the dorm rooms of 35 years. If you are over 35 years of age, please book a private room. Private rooms: age limit is 55 years of age.

Directions

Bus: From the Central Train/Bus station:
1. By Metro: In front of the Train station (which is right next to the Bus station) you can get the subway to the third station,called 'National Palace of Culture'. When you get out of the metro, walk along Vitosha Blvd.After tree intersections on the left side of the boulevard you will be in front of a big green house, right above Green Bar there is the hostel.
2. By Taxi: Go out from the Train station and take a look in left. You will notice a new modern building, located approximately 100m. Go there, this is Sofia Bus Station. Next to the entrance gates of the Bus Station, you will see a 'OK Supertrans' taxies booth on the opposite side of the Information. Ask the staff for a cab /they speak English/, showing them the address or better tell them to stop in front of Green Hostel building, positioned at 55 Vitosha Blvd.
3. By Tram: Take Tram No12 or 18 in front of the train station. Get off at the 'Palace of Justice'station and turn left on Vitosha Blvd. (there is Mc Donalds at the corner) After 200 meters you will see green building on the left side of the boulevard, right above 'Green bar'you will find the hostel.
Metro: In front of the Train station (which is right next to the Bus station) you can get the subway to the third station,called 'National Palace of Culture'. Airport: From Sofia Airport: 1. Take bus No 84 from the airport and get off at the last stop (near Starbucks Coffee). Than catch trolley bus No. 1, 2, 5, or 8 for 3 stops and than walk along Vitosha Blvd. After tree intersections on the right side of the boulevard you will be in front of a big green house, right above Green Bar there is the hostel.
2. By Taxi - Go to 'OK Supertrans' taxi company booth, located in arrivals terminal. Show them the address. They should give you a document for taxi order and will assist, guiding you to the cab or calling the cab driver. The taxi will stop in front of the hostel.
Please note: Do not accept any offers of 'taxi' drivers trying to speak with you directly. Most likely you will be cheated with 3-4 times higher then taxi rates. Regular taxi rates at the moment are around 0.77 Bulgarian Leva daytime and 0.89 Bul Leva night rates per km.
