About Sunflower's Home:

Sunflower's Home is a youth hostel in GuangZhou for anyone who are on holiday, backpacking and hitch-hiking alike.

Friends from all over the world in every walk of life came here to meet each others to exchange ideas about their holiday, planned routes and share life experiences.

It's up to you whether you want to relax in the hostel for days, exploring this great big city, or just for a short overnight stay to recharge your battery before your next adventure.

Owners of the Sunflower's Home are 3 happy, optimistic travellers. We have a dream to travel around all around the world. We love to travels as much as sunflowers love the sun. Since we don't have enough time available, therefore we want your helps to leaves your footsteps and your travel stories in our home. So we could finish the dream together.

Facilities:

We are a family hostel, located in a rare and quiet place within the busy area of the city.

A huge LIVING ROOM provides a large set of sofa and a big cabled TV for everyone to enjoy.
Varieties of Books are available on the Bookshelf behind the sofa to enrich your soul.
White Message Board is for anyone to leave your thoughts and to organise group activities etc.

Our KITCHEN is available for everyone to use, we have: Microwave Oven, Gas Cooker, Fridge Freezer to name just a few.
Plenty of Dishes, Bowls, Cups and Cutleries are available from the Disinfection Cabinet, please help yourself.

Sunflowers and Plantations are growing all the time on the BALCONY for you to enjoy.
ROOF TOP has killer views that you cannot miss. You can see GuangZhou's tallest building (TV Tower) and many other landmarks from there. We recommend you to go there from different time of the day to see how GuangZhou in operation, and after dark is highly recommended. Make sure you bring your camera with you.

After much thoughts and customisations, we are providing 15 beds in 4 bedrooms:

Double Room -
1.8m wide King-Sized Bed, Air-Conditioner, Bedside Cabinet, Dresser Table, Cloths Rack, Shared Shower/Toilet Facilities.

Twin Room -
2x 1.2m wide Beds, Air-Conditioner, Bedside Cabinet, Cloths Rack, Large Bay Window, Shared Shower/Toilet Facilities.

4-beds Dormitory -
1m wide Bunk Bed, Air-Conditioner, Bedside Cabinet, Cloths Rack, Large Book Shelf, Large Bay Window, Shared Shower/Toilet Facilities.

8-beds Dormitory -
1m wide Bunk Bed, Air-Conditioner, Bedside Cabinet, Cloths Rack, Large Book Shelf, Large Bay Window, En-suite Bath/Shower/Toilet Facilities.

All dormitories are mixed sex by default. However, we will make provision to separate the sexes when possible.

【GuangZhou Metro】
The easiest way to travel in GuangZhou is by the Metro, you don't get traffic jams like the buses do and the services are regular and on time.

● From GuangZhou BaiYun International Airport
Metro Line 3 from "Airport N" or "Airport S" to "TiYu XiLu", change to the other Line 3 to "ZhuJiang New Town" (see notes below), then change again to Line 5 and get off at the "YuanCun" Station.
- Changes: 2, Stops: 17, Estimate Travelling Time: 50 minutes.

Notes: On Metro Line 3, you need to change at the "TiYu XiLu" Station even though it's the same line, due to the fact that line 3 have split in two, one towards the "Airport" and the other one is for the "TianHe Coach Terminal" (confusing I know). So, just get changing at "TiYu XiLu". If you have any problems, just ask one of the officers in the station for help.

● From GuangZhou East Railway Station
Metro Line 3 from "GuangZhou East Railway Station" to "TiYu XiLu", change to the other Line 3 to "ZhuJiang New Town" (see notes above), then change again to Line 5 and get off at the "YuanCun" Station.
- Changes: 2, Stops: 6, Estimate Travel Time: 20 minutes.

● From GuangZhou Railway Station / GuangDong Coach Terminal / LiuHua Coach Terminal
Metro Line 5 from "GuangZhou Railway Station" to "YuanCun" Station.
- Changes: 0, Stops: 10, Estimate Travel Time: 25 minutes.

● From GuangZhou South Railway Station
Metro Line 2 from "GuangZhou South Railway Station" to "GuangZhou Railway Station", then change to to Line 5 and get off at "YuanCun" Station.
- Changes: 1, Stops: 25, Estimate Travel Time: 60 minutes.

● From TianHe Coach Terminal
Metro Line 3 from "TianHe Coach Terminal" to "ZhuJiang New Town" Station, then change to Line 5 and get off at "YunCun" Station.
- Changes: 1, Stops: 9, Estimate Travel Time: 20 minutes.

After you arrived at the "YuanCun" Station, get out from the C Exit, cross the road, turn right, and walk straight on for about 10 minutes or around 400 meters.

On the way, you will see a hospital on your right, many little shops and supermarkets.
The entrance to DongJing Garden (a big metal gate) is just before the post office on your left.



【Buses】
4 of the nearest bus stops from our hostel are: "YuanCun 2nd Cross Road Station", "YuanCun Station", "TianFu Road Station", and "YuanCun Hilltop Station".

● YuanCun 2nd Cross Road Station (YuanCun ErHeng Lu Zhan)
44、140、284、293、299、882、Night 18（22:00-01:40）、Night 35（22:00-06:00，No buses between 01:30-04:00）。
After you got off the bus, if you are on the same side as the Agriculture Bank of China, then you cross the road and continue walking (North) until you see the DongJing Garden's entrance. If you got off the bus on the opposite side of the Agriculture Bank of China, then you walk back (North) until you see the DongJing Garden's entrance.

● YuanCun Station (YuanCun Zhan)

Get off the bus and walk forward (East) until you see the JingXuan Restaurant (around 100m), then turn right on the cross road, DongJing Garden entrance is about 20m away.
