My little Guesthouse is in the center of Reykjavik in a quiet and charming neighbourhood. The size of the single room is 8 m2, the twins rooms are 14 m2 and the low budget double room is 11 m2. All rooms have comfortable beds and the rooms are bright with windows that can be opened. The single bed is 90 cm wide, the twin beds are 2x90 cm wide and the bed in the low budget double room is 140 cm wide. The shared bathroom is bright with heated floors and has a good shower.
All rooms have made up beds with soft cotton bed linen, and towels, full size mirrors, radio clock and Wi-Fi. It's a non-smoking Guesthouse and there are no pets in the house. Free parking is outside the house and one parking space is always available in the driveway.
This friendly Guesthouse is an ideal place to rest, relax and chill out after a long day of running around Reykjavik. I will do my best to make your stay a pleasant one. I can give you advice on finding your way around the city on a budget and assist you with plans for trips around Iceland. I am happy to take people out for sightseeing around Reykjavik if I'm not busy, or guide them around Reykjavik's nightlife and culture. I can also take people out on small trips to the countryside or mountains in my jeep.
If you arrive in Reykjavik with the Flybus service from Keflavik National Airport, as most of my guests do, the bus driver stops at the big hotels in the city and you should get off at Hotel Leif Eiriksson. Begin by walking toward the coffee shop Loki 25 m from your stop at Lokastigur. It is to the left when looking directly at the front door of the hotel. You will see the street sign Lokastigur and walk 150 m down the street and my place is on your right hand yellow house.
If you are going to walk from the terminal bus station in Reykjavik, walk over Hringbraut, the street in front of the bus station and turn left walk 50 m to Njardargata. The street Njardargata starts at little square and walk 500 m up the street. At the top of the hill, on the corner on Njardargata and Lokastigur you should take a left turn and walk down Lokastigur about 200 m down the street. The guesthouse is on your right hand. It's 15 minutes walk, about 1 km.
