A guesthouse located in a quiet alley in Kyoto created from a refurbished small, one-story machiya (traditional townhouse).
The house is only an 8-minute walk from a transportation hub in the northern part of Kyoto, Kitaoji Station, and is within strolling distance from Nishigin, Daitokujii Temple, Kitayama, and the Kamo River. In our neighborhood, you can enjoy trying out several different public bathhouses, and touring the longest shopping mall in Kyoto, Shin-Omiya Shouten Gai.
It would please us greatly if you are able to feel Japan\'s eternal flow of time during your stay.
Check-in is during 3:00pm to 10:00 pm. Check-out is 10:am And Payment is only cash and please pay the check-in time.
Directions
From Kyoto Station By Bus: Take Kyoto City Bus No. 9 Route and get off at 'Shimotorida-cho' bus stop (it will take about 30 minutes). The house is a 30 second walk from the bus stop.
By Subway: Take Karasuma line, and get off at 'Kitaoji' station. From the No. 2 exit, go right, and make another right at the recycle bicycle shop called Eirin. Turn left at the first street, go straight and pass Horikawa street and make a right onto Hoshi alley. Our guesthouse is in the alley. An 8 minute walk from the station. Red lines indicate shorter routes.
