West Hostel started as a university project made by young visionaries from the hospitality
industry. As the project grows, the opportunity to invest takes shape. And the hands-on
approach brought life to the newest, yet, differentiated hostel.
Inspired by the legacy of 'Don't travel just to go. Go to circulate.' The lodge is based upon
bringing in and giving life to the city's cultural heritage. Moreover, the place will provide you all the facilities and amenities needed for conviviality, with an artistic and open-minded style.
The facilities of this lodge include fully equipped kitchen, peaceful and comfy lounge with TV and Wi-Fi internet, and, a welcoming cozy veranda perfect for conviviality, to chill and have a drink. If sharing experiences of life and from around the world is on your vibe, then we are spot-on. Yet, if you just want to feel free of expressions, stress and heavy moments, come to our homely shanty shelter. Our Hostel has the capacity for 16 guests, including two in suite bedrooms. All rooms are in compliance with a bathroom each.
Thus, come learn and live all of what Peniche has to offer to you. Take the lead and tell us what you would like to do while in town: diving, fishing, surf, gastronomy, wine tasting, tours … You name it, we'll make it happen! West Hostel: a product of Peniche!

From Lisbon to Peniche:
Driving - Take the A8 Highway and drive North direction Leiria/Porto. Stop at the tool to colect a ticket and pay on the next tool. Drive towards Peniche exiting via the IP6 off-ramp. At the last roundabout take the direction Cabo Carvoeiro. After to get inside of the wall you are on the Av. Mariano Calado. The Hostel stay's on a white and pink buillding.
By Bus - Take a bus at Praça Marechal Humberto Delgado - Rua das Laranjeiras 1500-543 Lisboa.
There should be a bus to Peniche every two/three hours. Download here the bus schedule Lisbon - Peniche - Lisbon.
You can take a bus from Rede Expressos in direction to Peniche.
By car from Lisbon, take A8 and after that, take the IP6 to enter of the city (gates of Peniche).
From Porto, take the A29 in direction to Leiria and after that A8 until the IP6 in direction to Peniche.
