Dumont, Colorado Rafting

Active Adventure
Mother's Day through August experience Colorado's most consistant White Water on Clear Creek. No swimming required--1st rule stay in the RAFT. Clear Creek has more rapids per mile than any other River in Colorado--translating to--more FUN. The intermediate 'Blast' has 6 Class IV rapids surrounded with class III rapids. On Clear Creek we paddle to stay on top of the rapid NOT to get to the rapid. Good physical conditioning and active daily life will qualify you for the 'Blast'. The Advanced 'Kamikaze' is for the thrill seaker adding 2 miles of continuous class IV rapids to the 'Blast'.

Typical Day
Start by checking in and signing waivers. The guides will then get your wet suits and splash jackets to change into. When everyone geared, a safety speech is given by the trip leader and other guides get the rafts ready for the paddle instruction. After paddle instruction everyone launches. At completion of the trip everyone disembarks and loads onto the bus to be taken back to the office to change back into own clothing. Trips normally take around 3 hours.
