This is Praia do Forte, a tropical paradise, where the history, ecology and customs stay together on the same place.

Praia do Forte youth hostel is a perfect place for people who want to visit the North Coast of Bahia with semi-deserted beaches and exuberant nature, staying an economical hostel where you fell safe and comfortable.

Acomodations

23 rooms, where 11 were built first , in 1997 - 7 collective rooms for six people and 4 private rooms for two people, all of them with individual closets, fan and private bathroom. On the first floor, 12 rooms were built, in 2007, they are modern with air conditioning, and perfect for couples or family.

Reception
24 hours reception, a staff is always ready with interesting information about the region. We also offer tours with special discounts for backpackers and soft drinks and others are sold as well.

Breakfast Room
In front of the Indoor Yard, work from 7:30am up to 10am. After that time it is used to fast meals, to play games or entertainment.

If you have to cancel your booking, you must do it at least 48hrs before arrival.

If you book between December 15th and March 15th you will be charged 50% in advance in order to secure your booking (non refundable), you may be contacted by the property requesting the CVV code of the credit card used for this booking or asked for a deposit.

This also applies if your booking is during a national holiday, New Year´s eve or Carnival.

Directions

By private transfers cost about R$ 140 (from Salvador) and R$ 110 (from the international airport). You can request it on the booking time.

By Car
You get from Salvador the North Coast direction, you can get along Itapuã or via Paralela, both of them to the Airport direction. It is far from the airport 50 Km by the road.

By Bus
The bus company is called Linha Verde, most of the buses are in good conditions and some of them with air conditioning. Bus ticket - R$ 7,50 . Telephone number 71 3460-3636.

From Salvador city
The bus company Linha Verde offers a varied timetable , up to 5am to 6pm, near the Ferry Boat pier, which comes from Itaparica island, there are many stops along the way, near G. Barbosa supermarket, near the Iguatemi Shopping Center, Extra Paralela supermarket and by the BA-099 (Coconut) Highway North.

From the Bus Station
The bus station charge R$ 1,00 as tax fee. It is long 1hour and forty minutes with four daily schedule: 09:45am, 1:30pm, 4:30pm and 6:30pm

From Salvador International Airport
Buses from the bus station pass by the airport every 20 minutes later the over schedule. The bus stop is in front of the arrival, next to the "Bahianas de Acarajé" .
