Villa Badiian is a small family owned B&B located in the quiet village of La Campana near Vicu�a in the heart of the Elqui Valley. We have 4 rooms for our guests. Two rooms with bunk beds with a shared bathroom; one room with a double bed and private bathroom; and a large room with a private bathroom for 2-6 people. There are places in the garden to sit and read a book and a new swimming pool, open in the summer months. From the wooden decks or the rooftops you can soak in the sun and beautiful views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Enjoy the sounds of the countryside, birds singing, the wind blowing in the trees, roosters crowing and even a mule and peacock from the valley below.

We serve a generous breakfast and have coffee, tea, juices and seasonal fruits available during the day. If you don\'t want to go to a restaurant we offer lunch/dinner and �once� (light evening meal) at reasonable prices.

With our wonderful sunny micro-climate we have solar hot water 24hrs a day (with back up just in case) Being a semi desert area means that days can be sunny and warm to hot and very cool at night. Because of the difference in temperature be sure you have your sunscreen and a hat for the day and a sweater or jacket for the night.

We are happy to give suggestions of attractions in the valley. We can also assist you with reservations for various tours.

Languages spoken include: English, Spanish, German and others.

Directions

We are located 72km east of La Serena and 7 km east of Vicuña on Route 41. There are buses to La Campana (look for Paihuano on the sign in the bus window) and Vicuña from La Serena. Both leave from the Unimarc parking lot on Calle Brasil at La Recova. The Vicuña bus ends at the bus terminal in Vicuña. The bus for La Campana stops at the bus terminal then continues and will drop you at the La Campana bus stop (0.4km from our home). From Vicuña there are also colectivos ($1.000 pesos per person) and taxis ($3-4.000 pesos) which will bring to directly to our door.

Pick up and drop off at the airport in La Serena or the bus terminals in La Serena or Vicuña can be arranged.
