The hotel stands equidistant between Fort William and Glencoe adjacent to the Corran Ferry. It is very convenient for exploring Glencoe an outstandingly beautiful area that appeals to all , be it for walking, climbing or simply gazing in awe. Next to the Hotel/hostel is the ferry taking you to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula and Moidart and onwards to The Isle of Mull. Within easy reach are the Nevis Ranges and Ben Nevis, with enough to occupy you for many memorable days.
The meals are famous in value for money and variety and the host is extremely accommodating with regard to dietary needs.

Three direct trains a day run to and from Glasgow (Queen Street) via Crianlarich and Loch Lomond on the spectacular West Highland Railway and continue on the even more scenic route to Mallaig.
Several coaches a day run to and from Glasgow, Oban, Kyle of Lochalsh, the Isle of Skye and Inverness. Up to three per day run to and from Mallaig and in summer a couple also go to Edinburgh, Kingussie and Aviemore.
