The LAPA HOSTEL is located in a quiet street belonging to the cultural corridor of LAPA, the most bohemian neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. Composed of numerous bars, nightclubs, concert halls, restaurants and samba, the region is strategically positioned between the main city sights. Distant about 20 minutes by bus from the main beaches of the Zona Sul (Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon), Christ Redeemer and Sugar Loaf Mountain, guests of Lapa Hostel are also for about 15 minutes walking from the traditional neighborhoods of Santa Teresa and the Historical Center. In just 20 minutes by taxi is also possible to go to Maracana, the main football stadium in the country, and the famous Rio samba schools, such as Mangueira, Salgueiro, Unidos da Tijuca, Vila Isabel, Estacio de Sa.
