All our hopes that we had before our vacation have come true in this place - Vacinos villa - with Les, Lynda and all their pets. We spend a wonderful 3 week s in this place.
The location is perfect, you live like in the tropical garden with singing birds in the morning and sounds of waves from the ocean. If you wonna party - it takes just 5 mins by car, taxi or bike to the center of Caberete with all of its attraction.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. Everything was absolutely perfect; the location, the rooms, the tour that Les took us on, the Saturday market, La Boca on Sunday, the big fish that we bought and cooked! We truly loved everything about our visit.

We completed our second school trip to D.R. with a group of 28 high school students and parents.The stay at Vecinos was superb...great hospitality and sevice,great pool ,condos and bedrooms. Les and Lynda are great hosts...meals were excellent...Vecinos is clean,safe and secure...only a short walk to ocean...We will return in 2012 possibly with 2 groups...Rates are the best we could find... thanks guys..see you soon ... more

Surrounding Area
Book a dune buggy excursion, beach horseback riding, jungle or river boat safari, mountain/waterfall rappelling or whale-watching tour from main street vendors. A walk through the Cabarete Caves feels like traveling back in time. Rent a car and explore on your own, to experience the rich diversity that makes up this island nation.
Windsurf lessons or kite-boarding classes and equipment are readily available from beach-side shops with instruction from the local pros.
About 50 minutes east of us, is the world class golf course at Playa Grande, designed by Robert Trent Jones - a must see/play for every golfer. Other courses are found at Playa Dorado (30 min west) and closer.
Casinos beckon along the road from Puerta Plata to Cabarete, offering the diversion of modern gaming facilities.
Over a dozen beaches are within 2 hours of us, in either direction, and await your discovery and enjoyment.
Larimar and amber (our local gemstones) are available at mines along the Touristica Highway through the mountains, or in local gem shops at Puerta Plata, Sosua and Cabarete.
Vacation Rental Property

Cleaning materials are also provided or you can have a maid come in for $18/day. All you need to bring is a suitcase, your personal effects, and you're ready to move in and enjoy!
A gorgeous sand beach that stretches for miles in both directions, awaits 100 meters from your front door - perfect for long romantic walks or hunting for driftwood treasures.

We have 24-hour electricity with the land power, and back-up systems of inverters and a generator.
Kitchens are furnished with a large GE fridge and stove, stocked with cookware and dishes, glasses and cutlery, a toaster, espresso coffee maker or french coffee press, kettle and ice-cream maker.
Bedrooms have a king or queen-sized bed (twins also available), dresser and chair. Spacious closets have full sized mirror sliding doors, storage units and hangers.
Bathrooms have a bathtub with a shower, and large medicine cabinet.
Living rooms have a couch, chair, cable TV, dining table and chairs.
Our perimeter wall, 3 dogs and a security system ensure your safety and peace of mind.
Maid (or laundry) service is available for $18/day.
Ask about our all-inclusive option with 2 or 3 meals per day
2/2 condos have a safe in the room, 1/1 condos have a secure closet lock-up.
Use of a common clothes washer and dryer, trash pick-up, propane for the gas stove and unlimited hot water-on-demand, electricity, complimentary drinking water and a free parking space are included in the rental fee.
We're exempt from the usual 10+16 = 26% tax surcharge that the hospitality industry is required to charge here.

With only 4 condos to rent, we fill up quickly, so it's best to book early.

Our resort is unique in that we only have 6 rental units - which means you have pretty much an entire resort to yourself. One mile from downtown Cabarete's bustling night life and amenities, we offer a tranquil setting to relax and unwind - the best of both worlds.

Directions
It's 30 minutes east of Puerta Plata, 20 minutes from the major international airport there, and 10 minutes from Sosua.
We're on the east edge of Cabarete, 300m east of the Texaco, and on the same side of the street. We're across from Cabarete East (a condo complex) and 1km east of Janet's - our favorite grocery store in town.
