In the middle of the Patagonian Andes in the south of Chile, in the heart of the ecological region of Valdivia, 40° south latitude, Region of Los Rios (XIV), municipality of Panguipulli, it is found "Huilo-Huilo", the Biological Reserve in the South of the World, a private natural reserve, which along its 100,000 hectares of Native Forests, comprises a wide range of species of great natural value.

It has 55 rooms spread over 7 floors high, from which spectacular views dominate, to deliver an unforgettable experience. It also has 2 dining rooms, living room, exquisite dining and excellent service.

To access the rooms you can use a panoramic lift or a ramp with a gentle slope that runs throughout the interior.

BY PLANE:
Santiago - Valdivia: Daily flights from Santiago to Pichoy Airport, Valdivia. The duration of flights is 1 hour and 45 min approx., and the transfer to Huilo Huilo is 2 and a half hours.
Santiago - Temuco: Daily flights from Santiago to Maquehue Airport, Temuco. The duration of flights is 1 hour and 30 min approx., and the transfer to Huilo Huilo is 2 hours and 45 min.

BY BUS
Direct buses from Santiago to Panguipulli. Local buses depart from the Panguipulli Bus Station from 9.00 am to Neltume and stop at the Huilo-Huilo Biological Reserve (57 km).

ROUTES
The main access is by Ruta 5 Sur (Panamericana Sur), until the Lanco junction. Go straight on route 203 east, as far as the municipality of Panguipulli, then take the Panguipulli International road - Puerto Fuy, that will take you to the Reserve.
From Pucón, follow the route Villarrica-Lican Ray-Coñaripe (Route 201), go along the Neltume Lake and Neltume by the route 203.
From Argentina, take the Hua Hum International Pass after crossing the Pirehueico lake by barge. (Pass open all year through. Check timetables at www.barcazas.cl). This lake connects Puerto Pirehueico town and Puerto Fuy, at just 3 km from Montaña Mágica Lodge and Baobab Hotel & Spa.
