The Peace Garden caratara is located on the same route to the Poas Volcano. There is a chance to go when visiting the Poas Volcano. In the village there is a sign Poasito pointing where to go.
The main attraction is a series of trails through primary and secondary forest along the Rio La Paz and where are located some viewpoints to visualize the various waterfalls along the river, including that of the same name, La Paz

From the Juan Santamaria Airport is easy:
Take Route 1 to the intersection, after 1km, turn left to enter the road to Heredia and seeing the Fiesta Casino building, turn right, go through the neighborhood Rio Segundo and three miles to the meeting with the Pacific Gas Station turn left and continue for 800m, we are on the left side two floor building, our guide signs on the road to Santa Maria Inn Hotel
