Anything you want...or nothing at all! That is how we best describe the adventure offered at the Motherwell Ranch. Enjoy endless activities including horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, sporting clays, paddle boats, row boats, cattle drives, etc. Or, simply relax at the lodge and read your favorite book! There is something for everyone at the Motherwell Ranch!

A typical day at the Ranch starts with a gourmet breakfast prepared to order by our Executive Chef. After breakfast enjoy a morning activity of your choice. Mid-day we gather back at the lodge for a traditional ranch lunch and relaxation. During the afternoon hours enjoy another activity or adventure of your choice. The late afternoon provides an ice cream bar an free time. After a gourmet dinner guests wind down the day with evening programming including live entertainment, games, karaoke, star gazing, camp fire, etc.

Age range, type of group

Ranch facilities and activities are available for all age groups. Families, couples, groups, retreats, etc. are all welcome. Please keep in mind that each experience is private and exclusive to your group - you will literraly have the ranch to yourselves. Because of this exclusivity, a minimum of 6 participants is required within your party.

Sleeping and meals

Our dude ranch Suites are luxuriously appointed and finished with beautiful tile and hard wood flooring, each guest accommodation features character and class. Rustic elegance at its finest. All rooms are equiped with simple pleasures such as plush linens and towels, soft robes, cozy slippers, and majestic window views. Master suites, junior suites, and a festive bunkroom accommodate a variety of group sizes and dymanics. We also have six luxury tent sites that are every bit as comfortable as a lodge room including full bathrooms, wood floors and full furnishings.

Restrictions

We do ask that you leave your pets at home as they can be disruptive to the horses, wildlife and livestock.

Smoking is not allowed in the lodge, buildings, or luxury tents. However, you are welcome to smoke outside in designed smoking areas.

Rates

Private ranch vacation packages begin at $250 per person, per night. Each event is customized to your specific group. Please contact us today for an individualized quote.

Other Information

We are located within 30 minutes of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Here you can enjoy botique shopping and dining. There is also a local rodeo every weekend throughout the summer months.
