Guests at Hestheimar can choose accommodation with private or shared bathrooms. Some include kitchen facilities and a terrace. 2 cottages, each for 2-6 persons, with private bathroom, kitchenette and a panoramic view.
Relaxation and activites at Hestheimar. Wonderful nature, brilliant location. While staying at Hestheimar, you can explore South Iceland; by riding, hiking or driving. You could drive to the glacier of Eyjafjall (Eyjafjallajökull) and the famous volcano Hekla. Also go by boat to the Westman Islands (Vestmannaeyjar). Shorter and longer riding tours and riding lessons are available.
Restaurant and communal living room with travel guides and books are available at Hestheimar, 2 outdoor hot tubs, BBQ facilities and a gift shop selling local crafts. Other service include: Bar, Tour desk, Laundry (surcharge), Horseback riding trips and riding lessons can be organised on site. Great location to watch the northern lights, away from all light pollution. Free! Wi-fi is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Free! Bikes available.

Hestheimar are conveniently located only 50 minutes drive from Reykjavik, with an easy access from the Ringroad, number 1. Located 13 km from the southern town of Hella, only 3 km off Icelan's Ring Road. Central Reykjavik is a 50-minute drive away, and the town of Selfoss is 20 minutes away by car.
