There is plenty of opportunity to admire this colourful Arctic fauna and animal life, and the guide shows how to move in the wilderness. Along the way we gather and capture much of our own food and we will gain insight to which plants that are edible. Under the Arctic sky, the fresh ingredients we cook over the open fire are the ideal accompaniment to our fish, and in river we have the finest drinking water. Most hikers and kayakers are joining todays gear weight reduce race, forgetting it can be reduced a lot more by learning how to find and use the fresh ingredients given to us by nature, and same time lifting the level of adventure and meals.
After a few days we forget the everyday life back home and a new day presents itself by being in the wilderness on its own terms. In a world that seems to change more quickly with each passing year, it is important to step outside our usual routine, to slow down and to take time to remember what connects us all. A wilderness trip is a most unique and unusual escape from everyday life.

Wilderness-Tours organize trips for individuals, small groups, couples, for women only, adventures for families and custom programs for groups. Although a group of like-minded people enhances the wilderness experience, we generally limit our groups to just 14 guests, with 8 to 10 guests being the average.
