Opened in 1888, a family-run establishment and has been for five generations, Kiriya Ryokan is an old traditional Japanese Ryokan and located in the historical mountain village of Nozawaonsen surrounded by 13 public hot spring baths, Shrines and picturesque mountains. Extending to the peak of the 1,650 m Mt. Kenashiyama, Nozawaonsen ski Resort boasts 297 hectares of ski slopes and over 40km of groomed runs.<br><br>Kiriya Ryokan is located less than 5 minutes walk from the main street and its many restaurants and only 3 minutes walk away from the " Yu-Road " moving pathway that unloads directly on the Hikage slopes. <br>Enjoy traditional hand-crafted rooms, internationally acclaimed Kaiseki meals (Traditional Japanese dishes), and friendly service, also features our own private spring-fed natural mineral onsens and bathing facilities. Bathroom amenities include hair dryer, shampoo & conditioner, body soap, shaver (Gentleman's bath only), and safe box. <br><br>For guest room amenities includes: Air conditioner, TV, Safe box, Bathroom, Toilet, Sink, Tea set, Telepohne, Bar fridge, Yukata (Japanese bath slope), Towel, and Toothbrush.<br><br>Access*<br>Nozawa Onsen is about 300 Km North-West from Tokyo and accessible via public transport like bullet train and bus.<br>From Narita Airport to Tokyo station - Approx. 1 hour with Narita Express<br>From Tokyo to Nagano- ,Approx. 2 hours with bullet train <br>From Nagano station to Nozawa village - Approx. 1 hour half with local bus (JPY1400/ per person) <br>15-minute taxi ride from JR Togari Nozawa Onsen train station on the JR liyama train line.
