Resort Inn Sakanoshita is conveniently located in a peaceful area near Late Kawaguchiko, the biggest lake among the famous Fuji Five Lakes. It is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Station and a 10-minute drive to Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park. A convenience store and a super market are within 5 min walk from the hostel. There are also restaurants nearby. Free Wifi Internet connection is available.
The guestrooms are Japanese style with futon beds. They have traditional tatami (woven-straw) floors and shoji paper screens. Room facilities include pajama, slippers, towels, toothbrush set, razor, comb, and flat-screen TV. The rooms are non-smoking. Bathrooms are shared.
Guests can enjoy a relaxing Japanese style bath in our public bath. The bathrooms can be reserved for private use. There are also natural hot spring public bath house in the neighborhood.
You can enjoy strolling through the garden or relaxing on the terrace. In warm weather, barbecue facilities are available. DVD player and Mahjong set can be rented at the front desk. Luggage storage is also available at the front desk.
We serve homemade western and Japanese food for breakfast and dinner. Meals are served at the dining room. Please make a reservation if you wish to dine in the facility.
Other facilities include a gymnastic hall and a multipurpose hall.
Free transportation service to and from Kawaguchiko Station is provided. Please make a reservation in advance.

The hostel has great access to the 5 famous lakes of Mt. Fuji (Fuji Goko area). It is also very close to Mt. Fuji. There are also famous caves such as Narusawa Cave, and waterfalls such as Shiraito-no-taki Waterfall in the area.

From Tokyo direction:
Take the JR Chuo Line Express from JR Shinjuku Station to JR Otsuki Station, 62min. Switch to Fujikyuko Line and get off at Kawaguchiko Station, 51min.
From Osaka direction:
Take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen to MIshima Station, about 2hr. Take the Fuji Kyuko bus from Mishima Station, and get off at Kawaguchiko Station, about 2hr 10min.
From Kawaguchiko Station:
Take a bus bound for Lake Motosuko, Lake Saiko, and Narusawa Fuji direction. Get off at Chichigasaki bus stop. Walk east for a few steps, and turn right at the first crossroad, where you see a clothing store. Walk for about 200 meters, and you will see the hostel on the left side of the road. We are 1 min walk from the bus stop. The bus fare is 230yen. If you take a taxi from Kawaguchiko Station, it cost about 750yen.
We offer transportation service from Kawaguchiko Station from 10:00 until 19:00. Please make a reservation if you wish to be picked up at the station.

Take the Chuo Highway to Kawaguchiko I.C., 90min.
From Osaka direction:
Take the Tome Highway to Fuji I.C, 4hrs. After exiting Fuji I.C., take Rt139 to Kawaguchiko I.C., 1hr.
From Kawaguchiko I.C.:
Get on Rt. 707 and head towards the Kawaguchiko Bridge. Turn left at the Chinese restaurant Bamiyan to get on Rt. 714. Turn left after driving about 400 meters where you see a clothing store and drive another 200 meters. We are on the left side of the road, about 5 min drive from Kawaguchiko I.C..
