Narabiyori was newly opened in the fall of 2011. It was originally built in the Meiji era, about 100 years ago. It is conveniently located close to JR Nara Station and Kintetsu-Nara Station, in a quiet neighborhood. There are 4 Japanese style guestrooms, all clean and cozy. You can enjoy meeting new friends here, and relax in the nostalgic Japanese atmosphere.
No meals are provided in the guesthouse, but you are free to use the kitchen and cooking utensils. There are convenience store and super market and restaurants nearby.
The bathroom and shower room are shared by all guests. There is no bathtub in the shower room. If you wish to enjoy a nice Japanese style bath, we recommend you to go to a public bathhouse close-by.
No curfew, but the lights are turned off at 23:00. Please do not use the public facilities after 23:00.

From Osaka

Take the JR Osaka Loop Line JR Osaka Station to JR Tennoji Station, 16 min.
Switch to JR Kansai Line and go to JR Nara Station, 33 min.
You can also take the Kintetsu-Nara Line to go from Osaka-Namba Station to Kintetsu-Nara Station, 38min.
From Kyoto

Take the JR Nara line to JR Nara Station, 48 min.
You can also take the Kintetsu-Nara Line from Kyoto Station to Kintetsu-Nara Station, 48min.
From Tokyo area

Take JR Tokaido Shinkansen from JR Tokyo Station to JR Kyoto Station, about 1 hour and 40 min.
From JR Kyoto Station, take JR Nara line to JR Nara Station, 48 min.
From Kansai International airport

Take JR express Haruka from Kansai airport to JR Tennoji sta. and transfer to Yamatoji Line to JR Nara Station, about 90 min.
You can also take a limousine bus from the airport to JR Nara Station, about 90 min.
The ryokan is 7 min walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station or 15 min walk from JR Nara Station.
From Kintetsu-Nara Station

Get out from Exit No.7 and walk west on the major street, Rt. 369. Turn right at Takama Intersection and walk north, until the first traffic light. Turn left and walk for about 180m. We are on the right side of the street.
From JR Nara Station

Get out the east exit of the station, and walk east on Sanjo Dori Street. Turn left at Kami-Sanjo-Cho Intersection and walk north. Walk pass the Takama Intersection and keep walking north, until the first traffic light. Turn left and walk for about 180m. We are on the right side of the street.
