The Purple Goblin offers a homely, clean and relaxing environment where you can meet and make new friends or just bring a couple of your old ones.

Comfy beds and modern facilities as well as free WIFI throughout the whole apartment gives a hint of luxury to make you feel at home, no matter how far away that is. We are perfectly located with all that Tallinn has to offer just a stone's throw away. As pub crawls are a Tallinn must, we can show you the best of the bunch when it's beer o'clock. A simple breakfast is available every morning, to set you up for the day. Help yourself to free tea and coffee day and night, or enjoy a cold beer from our fridge.

We have many tours to offer, from shooting an AK47 to cycling through a national park with waterfalls and everything in between. We can also show you where to explore an old prison or climb around communist era statues, visit museums galore, the national library or just get hammered in the old town square. You could meet an old hag and eat farm animal pies or splurge at a fine dining restaurant.

We are 1 minute walk from the famous Freedom Square.

Metered Taxis
Taxis in Tallinn are priced different from company to company. BUT ALL BY LAW WILL DISPLAY A YELLOW STICKER ON THE RIGHTHAND SIDE OF THE BACK WINDOW!!! This will display: base rate (price to get in the taxi) � price per KM � price for waiting etc. There will also be a credit card size ID card with photo in the centre of the dashboard. Make sure the driver turns the meter on!!!

FROM THE AIRPORT
Between the hours of 07:20- 18:40
Take the 90K Airport bus
After leaving the customs area of the airport, you go through glass sliding doors where relatives cry and greet their love ones. Ignore them (they are not for you!!)
Turn right and walk towards the R-KIOSK where just in front you will see a blue stand where you can buy a ticket for the 90K bus (3 euros) tell them you want to get off at stop 5 Freedom square/ Vabaduse valjak. They will tell you where the bus stop is down stairs.
Tell the driver you want STOP 5, Vabaduse valjak (Freedom square)
When you get off the bus you will see a glass fronted building, this is the SWED-BANK (orange signs) on the opposite side of the road. Cross the road and walk past the SWED-BANK so the entrance is on your left hand side, this is Parnu mnt (our street). Hop skip an jump your merry little way to the top of this street and we are located in the last building on the left hand side, number 27. The door is locked so you will need to press number 5 on the door entry system and we will let you in.

Between the hours of 18:40 -23:30
Upon leaving the customs area, buy a bus ticket from the R-KISOK on your right. Go down the escalators and exit the terminal building. On the left hand you will see the bus stops. Take bus 2: And get off at KESKTURG, which is the stop after AUTOBUSSI JAAM (the bus stop signs have these names printed on them). When you leave the bus cross the tram lines and get TRAM 4 : in the same direction. The tram will display TONDI on the front of it. Get off the tram at Vabaduse valjak, which is the stop after VIRU. Continue to walk in the same direction that tram was travelling in, Smile your nearly there! This is Parnu mnt (our street). Walk for 100m till you reach the zebra crossing next to the fancy dress shop. Cross the street were you will see the � Reval cafe our entrance is the door to the left hand side, number 27. Press number 5 on the door entry system and we will let you in.

From the CENTRAL BUS STATION/ AUTOBUSSI JAAM:
Between the hours of 5:30 -23:20
Buy a ticket from the R-KIOSK and turn 180 degrees and at the far end of the depot, next to the automatic barriers you will see a bus stop shelter. From this bus stop you can get buses: 17 or 17a both will display J.SUTISTE TEE on the front.Or number 23 which will display KADAKA on the front.
Stay on the bus for around 7 to 10 minutes and get off at Vabaduse valjak/ Freedom square which is the stop after ESTONIA. Get off and walk back 20m in the opposite direction the bus was travelling in up to the main cross roads. You will see a glass fronted building, this is the SWED-BANK (orange signs) diagonally across the road. Head for the bank so the entrance is on your left hand side, this is Parnu mnt (our street). Hop, skip and jump your merry little way to the top of this street and we are located in the last building on the left hand side, number 27. The door is locked so you will need to press number 5 on the door entry system and we will let you in.

From the PORT TERMINALS:
Between the hours of 7:40 and 19:00
Leave the terminal building and you will see the bus stop on the right hand side with 90K written on it. The 90K is the blue airport bus but stops near our hostel. Get on the blue 90K bus and pay the 3 euro fare and ask the driver to stop at number 14 Vabaduse valjak/ Freedom square. When you get off the bus walk in the same direction that the bus was travelling in until you reach the corner of the main cross roads. On the opposite side of the road you will see a glass fronted building, this is the SWED-BANK, walk across the road so the entrance is on your left hand side, this is Parnu mnt (our street). Hop skip an jump your merry little way to the top of this street and we are located in the last building on the left hand side, number 27. The door is locked so you will need to press number 5 on the door entry system and we will let you in.

Between the hours of 19:00and 23:30
Head out of the building you will see the bus stop shelter just a few metres in front of you. From here get bus No. 2 and get off at A.LAIKMAA which is the stop after D-TERMINAL. Go back in the opposite direction the bus was travelling in to the corner (you will see the spinning doors of the Viru centre, to your left)
Diagonally to your right you will see the tram stops in the middle of the road. Head over there (you want the tram stop on the other side of the tracks.) From here get on either tram 3 or 4 heading in the direction of TONDI, it will display this on the front of the tram. Get off the tram at Vabaduse valjak, which is the stop after VIRU. (Smile your nearly there, this is our street.) Continue to walk in the same direction that tram was travelling in, This is Parnu mnt (our street). Walk for 100m till you reach the pedestrian crossing next to the fancy dress shop. Cross the street were you will see the Reval cafe our entrance is the door to the left hand side, number 27. Press number 5 on the door entry system and we will let you in.
