The Monumental Townhouse is an incredible four story Historic Dutch Townhouse House that maintains many of it's genuine characteristics. The building is just minutes away from the Central Station and has recently been completely renovated, keeping it's aged features which give this house it's authentic Amsterdam style. This apartment's location is within easy walking distance to all of Amsterdam's major attractions and just a mere walk away from the Central Station and Dam Square. It is the perfect apartment to enjoy a nice vacation being that it is located in a very quiet location with nearly no traffic.
The four floor Monumental Townhouse's entrance on the ground floor leads to the fully equipped kitchen that consists of an electric hob, fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and all the crockery, utensils and tableware that you will need for your stay. There is also a large kitchen table and chairs to sit around and enjoy your meals. In order to get to the living room on the second floor and to the two separate double bedrooms with two bathrooms on the third and fourth floors, you will have to go up several steep stairs, which may not be appropriate for the elderly. Both double bedrooms have their own private bathroom with toilet, shower, handbasin and towel rail. From all the floors you will be able to enjoy a beautiful canal view! The internal stairs that lead to the upper floors are very complicated to climb and lead you to the bedrooms and the living room. Here you will find a sofabed, comfortable chairs, work desk, reading lamps, TV, DVD, CD player.
