You may wonder why the name Next Door Hostel? Because it is literally next door to the already established Hedonist Hostel and is the (younger) sister hostel :) The great thing is that you may use facilities of both hostels! Choose the ones you like best :)
Next Door Hostel is located in the old town of Belgrade close to many attractions the city has to offer. It is in a house with a garden perfect for relaxing & meeting fellow travelers.
The whole house was completely renovated during January/February 2012 and is nice and fresh for you to enjoy! Our hostel is very bicycle friendly as we're in a ground floor house and you may park your bicycle in our garden. We also have bicycles for hire so that you can enjoy a day cycling around the beautiful rivers of Belgrade. We would be happy to welcome you in our city and help you have a great stay!

Location
Within 5 minutes on foot you will find yourself at any of the top Belgrade attractions. Hedonist Hostel is in the centre of Old Town and is located in a very quiet one-way street. It is never noisy and yet if noise is what you're looking for you're only several minutes away. Belgrade city center is a very vibrant and busy place and you're at the best possible place to truly experience it!
Walking distance to sights of interest:
- Kalemegdan Park/Fortress - 500m
- Knez Mihailova Street (main pedestrian street) - 450m
- Republic Square (main square of Belgrade) - 650m
- Students park/square - 150m
- Strahinjica Bana street, a.k.a. Silicone Valley (hotspot cafe/bar street) - 300m
- Skadarlija, the bohemian quarter with traditional restaurants and live Serbian music - 550m
- Loki, favourite bbq place amongst locals - 300m
- 'Question Mark' ('Znak pitanja') tavern (kafana), the oldest Belgrade kafana, founded in 1823 - 750m,
- Many museums and art galleries,
- Super markets, restaurants, cafes, ATMs, exchange offices are all close by..

Take tram no. 2 (10 mins.) which stops directly in front of the station (main entrance to station - Savska street, not exit) - there are 2 tram stops, wait at the one a bit further from the station. Exit on the 4th stop, in front of Kalemegdan Park.
Cross the street and enter Uzun Mirkova Street (УЗУН МИРКОВА). Take the third left into Studentski Trg Street (СТУДЕНТСКИ ТРГ) - go down that street alongside the park. Then turn right, again alongside the park, then turn left into a small downward street - Višnjićeva Street (ВИШЊИЋЕВА), then turn to the first street on the right - that is our street - Simina Street (СИМИНА). Next Door Hostel is located in Simina Street 7.
From Central bus station

Find the tram stop which is located in the main street (Karadjordjeva street) straight ahead from where your bus arrived. Trams 2 and 11 (around 10 mins.) all lead to the same stop near us. Exit on the 3rd stop, in front of Kalemegdan Park. Now you are just minutes away from the hostel.
Cross the street and enter Uzun Mirkova Street (УЗУН МИРКОВА). Take the third left into Studentski Trg Street (СТУДЕНТСКИ ТРГ) - go down that street alongside the park. Then turn right, again alongside the park, then turn left into a small downward street - Višnjićeva Street (ВИШЊИЋЕВА), then turn to the first street on the right - that is our street - Simina Street (СИМИНА). Next Door Hostel is located in Simina Street 7.
From Airport Nikola Tesla

Take the public bus no.72 in front of the airport (around 50 mins.). Tickets bought on the bus are 150 Dinars (1.5 Euros), tickets bought from a kiosk are 95 Dinars (1 Euro). This is the cheapest way, but also includes a bit of walking. Exit at the last stop - Zeleni Venac (ЗЕЛЕНИ ВЕНАЦ). This bus runs approx. every 30 mins from 05:20 until 00:00 every day.
Once you are out of the bus you will see in front of you a builing-like structure with McDonalds on top. Take the stairs that are to the left of the structure. Cross Brankova Street (БРАНКОВА) and walk up Carice Milice Street (ЦАРИЦЕ МИЛИЦЕ). After 250m, with a park to your left, turn right into Đure Jakšića Street (ЂУРЕ ЈАКШИЋА). Now walk straight for 500m, you will cross the main pedestrian street and after that 2 more streets with a park to your left. Now you should be in Simina Street (СИМИНА). Turn left and keep walking until you reach no.7. This walk should take you about 10 mins.
Note: When you are out of the bus there are quite a few lefts and rights so you can ask for directions, Simina is a well known street and people are usually friendly and in case they know English they will try to help you out.
