Activity/Tour
Drive through the beautiful Cambodian countryside to the riverside town of Battambang. Dine on authentic Khmer cuisine in a relaxed setting. Learn about local life, visiting some of the villages of Battambang. Visit a crocodile farm to see and learn more about these living dinosaurs. Enjoy a picnic lunch on ‘Ship Hill’, looking out onto a landscape of lush rice fields and sugar palm trees. Take a cyclo tour of Phnom Penh. Visit the 19th century Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda and the lively temple of Wat Phnom, complete with local monkeys!
Dine at a restaurant which gives former street children a chance to support themselves. Take a two day private boat cruise on a beautiful wooden riverboat. Weigh-anchor near Kampong Chnang and have a delicious dinner on board. Head for the remarkable city of Chnok True, based entirely on the water. Climb into a helium balloon and see the temples of Angkor from 120 metres in the air.
Head to the magnificent Angkor Wat, said to symbolise the soul of the Khmer people. See the ancient city of Angkor Thom and Bayon temple, a magnificent masterpiece of 12th century Khmer craftsmanship. Go to Ta Phrom and unravel a mystery together, Tomb Raider- style! Drive in original 1970’s Jeeps to see Banteay Srey at its best; in the morning light. Visit a Landmine Museum, which also serves as a rescue center for landmine amputee children.
Spend the night in a tented jungle camp and visit a village school to meet the children. Receive blessings from Buddhist monks for good luck and a safe journey; and take a boat trip to discover the life of the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia.
