Experience the charm of Chiang Mai starting with a trishaw ride to a busy local market and sample a cup of the local Arabica at a coffee research project. Continue to a hill tribe village to meet the locals, ending your day with a private blessing ceremony at Chiang Mai’s most sacred temple, Wat Doi Suthep. Next day we’ll mountain bike through country scenery; elephant trek through jungle paths then board a rubber raft for an exhilarating ride downriver to meet an Akha hill tribe family in their village. Stay at a home stay in the countryside, helping your family with the dinner and strolling around the friendly village. After saying goodbye to your hosts you’ll head for a hot springs where the water is guaranteed to relax and soothe.
