- Bathroom: With variable threshold-free shower grab bars, toilet with grab bars, accessible washbasin, hair dryer, towels. Washing machine, dryer and drying room are located in the basement.

More Details:
There are two bedrooms with altogether four beds. One bedroom is a niche divided with a curtain from the living room.
The sofa in the picture is in the living room and it opens up for a double bed. It easyly accommodates two children. We also had two adults sleeping on this double bed and they where happy with it.
The apartment is right on the railway track but you will not hear any noise from the trains. The apartment building has altogether three green courtyards with trees, bushes and grass. All the windows and the terrace are going into the courtyard. There are also playgrounds for children at the courtyards. The courtyards are not open to the public only people living in the apartment building can use them.

We stayed in this apartment for a week at Christmas, we loved it (and Munich) so much that we can back for a second week in January. The location of the apartment is excellent, right at a train station yet it is so well insulated that it is super quiet, no noise at all. There are shops and various public transport options just a few minutes walk away. The apartment is very spacious and was absolutely spotless. I believe it has been newly renovated and it is beautifully furnished. There is plenty of storage space as well. After 6 weeks in apartments all over Europe, this one was definitely the best.
Location:
Enjoy the central, but quiet apartment in the middle in Munich--ideal location between the main station and Theresienwiese with excellent transport links. The wheelchair accessible 70 sqm 2 1/2 bedroom ground floor apartment has a sunny terrace with access to a spacious and leafy courtyard with playground (accessible only to residents). The beautifully designed living space includes a living room, bedroom, spacious dining area, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with wheelchair-accessible barrier free shower. The apartment was completely renovated in 2012 to make it wheelchair accessible (barrier free access, lift, underground parking available). Exact dimensions and details on request. Ideal starting point for exploring Munich on foot or take trips to the Bavarian lakes and the Alps.
Discover Munich and local activities:
- You are 10 minutes in the city center (Stachus, pedestrian zone), on the Theresienwiese, or in the beer garden. Shops, restaurants, supermarket, culture, museums, parks, Isar, and exhibition center and the Allianz Arena are within a short time. A variety of public transport are just 5 minutes: S-Bahn Hackerbrücke, U4 / 5 Theresienwiese, Tram 18/19, the bus station.
- The oldest beer garden in Munich, Augustiner beer garden in the Arnulfstraße is just a 10 minute walk. Similarly, the Augustiner brewery, with its quaint Bräustuben at Landsberger Strasse. The Munich Art Quarter with its world famous art galleries and the English Garden are just 15 minutes away by tram. Lindau and Ammersee are about 30 minutes away by car. Or take the S8 to Herrsching about 40 minutes away. As an alternative, offering a walk on the sacred mountain to the monastery of Andechs, with its magnificent views and the beautiful beer garden.
