Classic and historic 65 unit motor court budget motel just east of Nanaimo Street on Kingsway in Vancouver, B.C. where guests can park for free practically in front of their unit. Convenient access to Grandview Highway (with access to Hwy. #1).

Enjoy picnic tables, gardens and ample landscaped lawns. The 2400 Motel is pet friendly. We have standard rooms and many of our units are kitchenettes and come in 1, 2, 3 and some 4 bed studios and suites which are ideal for families, sport teams, long term or extended stay accommodations.

All of our rooms have private bathrooms and we offer smoking rooms as well. We provide free cable, internet, parking and complimentary coffee in the lobby.


You may recognize our property as it is a favourite location for television and film.

Supernatural, X-Files, Millennium and The Sentinel to name a few have all filmed here.

The 2400 is a rare place of shared memories. We are a home-away from home for many travelers and we have loyal guests who repeatedly return to stay with us. We are part of Vancouver's history and when you visit you are taken back in time to a whole miniature world from an earlier, simpler time.

Very convenient we are 10 to 15 minutes to either downtown Vancouver or Metrotown in Burnaby which is British Columbia's largest shopping centre. Guests who stay with us can receive a discount card to Metrotown at check-in. We also offer reduced rates to other major tourist attractions like the Aquarium and Capilano Bridge Suspension Park.

Skytrain (Nanaimo Station) is a short 4 block walk and provides easy access to downtown, Metrotown and other attractions. Vancouver International Airport is connected via this rapid transit system.

Directions

By car: The 2400 Motel is 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, between Nanaimo Street and 33rd Avenue on Kingsway. Follow Main Street south to Kingsway, heading southeast, the 2400 Motel is located on your right, just past Nanaimo Street.

By Sky Train: it is near the Nanaimo station which runs northwest to downtown (about 10 minutes and southeast to Burnaby, New Westminster and Surrey. When you arrive at the Nanaimo station turn left and walk up (South) Nanaimo Street to Kingsway and cross road turn left and Motel is on your right.

Walk eastward on Kingsway towards 2400 Motel

Highway # 99 north from US Border and Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal
(Approximate travel time 40 minutes)

After the tunnel take either the second exit (Westminster Highway exit 36) or the third (Highway 91A exit 37), proceed east to Knight Street and turn left (north). Continue to 33rd Street, turn right (east) then travel for 8 blocks and the 2400 Motel is located on the left, just past Nanaimo.

TransCanada Highway # 1 westbound motorists
(Approximate travel time 10 minutes)

Take the Grandview exit, proceed to the sixth traffic light, and turn left on Nanaimo Street, then left (south) onto Kingsway drive for half a block, the 2400 Motel is located on your right.

Trans Canada Highway # 1 eastbound motorists from Horseshoe Bay Ferry/Whistler
(Approximate travel time 40 minutes)

Travel East on Trans Canada Highway cross the 2nd Narrows Bridge (Iron Workers Memorial Bridge), the Boundary Road exit and follow south to Kingsway, turn right (west), continue for 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) the 2400 Motel will be on your left.

From Greyhound Bus Station using public transportation
(Approximate travel time 15min)

Walk across park and up to Skytrain platform at Main Skytrain Station.
Take Skytrain - platform sign 'EXPO LINE TO KING GEORGE'.
Disembark train at the NANAIMO Skytrain Station.
Transfer at Nanaimo STN Bay 3 to 'Bus 25 UBC'.
Disembark bus after travelling Westbound to Kingsway at Nanaimo Street.
Motel is block uphill Kingsway on right hand side.
