Directions
With the direct bus from San Jose
From the Coca Cola terminal there are two or three buses a day and you can catch the direct bus to Mal Pais/ Santa Teresa. It costs around $ 14 and you don t have to change busses. Get off the bus at the final destination in Santa Teresa, make a short walk north and Cala casitas is on the right hand side.
Shuttle Bus:
We can book it ahead of time for you. A door to door shuttle service to/from Cala Casitas for about $50 depending on season and availability.
With the car:
From San Jose drive on to the Interamericana to Puntarenas (120 kms) where you can take the ferry to Paquera (first ferry in the morning at 4:30 am, then every two hours until 10:00 pm).
From Paquera there is only one road to Santa Teresa that goes through Cobano. We are located 3 km north from the intersection of Mal Pais/Santa Teresa.
By plane:
From San Jose airport you have to take a charter flyght up to Tambor. From tambor take a Taxi up to Santa teresa. 50 usd one way.
