Anna houseboat is a large converted cargoship from 1927.

Moored in a unique spot in downtown Amsterdam. Recently upgraded to modern standards, but still looking classic, with lots of original features.

Overlooking the old harbour with its ships in all shapes and sizes.

Come, and enjoy the gentle sway on the waves from the boats passing by.

Our 4 person or family room spread over 3 levels that used to be the captains quarters.

Sleeps up to 5, if at least 1 person is under the age of 16.

The double bed can also be made 2 single. Down there is a small double and single bed. It also has a romantic wheelhouse overlooking the old harbour.

Television, air-conditioning and central heating in the room.

Our large double room is bright and airy. The double bed can also be made into 2 single beds. Television and central heating in room.

The large fully equipped kitchen can be used by all for breakfast, making dinner or use the computer. Free internet, tea, coffee, etc provided.

The large bathroom with shower has all necessities like hair-dryer and iron. The bathroom and 2 toilets are to be shared.

The deck and dock can be used for sunbathing and BBQ. We provide life jackets for the smallest.

You will get your own keys, so you can come and go as you please.

The owners, Thijs and Dawn, live in the front of the ship, and will be happy to explain and answer any questions.


Please note:

Check-in from 13:00 hours. You can leave your luggage when you arrive early.
Check-out 11:00 hours.

Cancellation policy is at least 1 day in advance (24 hrs).

We only accept cash payment. Sorry, no credit cards.

Minimum stay is 2 nights.

Breakfast is not included.
Taxes included.

Directions


From Central Station:
Walk out the main entrance, and turn left (east) along the water.(this is Prins Hendrikkade) On the other side of the road you will see a big church, an old tower and hotel AMRATH.
Then you will see a lower dockroad with lots of ships. We are the last one, at the end, just before the bridge under a large evergreen tree.
Look for the sigh ANNA 549, and ring the bell.
This walk will take 5 minutes.
From SCHIPHOL airport :
Take the train to central station.Takes about 10 min. Cost aprox. 4 euro pp one way.
A taxi will cost approx.40 euro
BY CAR
Parking is very expensive in Amsterdam (30,- per day)
Its possible to park on the edge of the city for a lot cheaper. Please Email us in advance for details about parking.
