Our campsite consists of 10-14 tents of different capasity (2 PAX, 3 PAX, 4 PAX), toilet, shower and common place covered of the rain. We do provide sleeping place in a tent, mates, light breakfast + cooking facilities (gas stove and barbeque +fire place). We do sell locally snack and instant food, some of the meals could be provided at the extra cost. Closest store located in the 15 walk from the campsite, so you could bay almost anything here.

We do have bikes for rent + run a plenty of different guided tours in a closest neighborhood: trekking, climbing, rafting and boating at Lake Baikal and many others. Highlight of our campsite is BANYA - Russian steam sauna right at the very shore of the Lake Baikal!

Directions


1. By bus from Irkutsk city
Buses departs from central railroad station of Irkutsk city, on a right side of the station building if you are facing to it, right next to the café “HOT”.
Buses are available from 8:30 AM till 10 PM daily; a minivan goes every half an hour. One way ticket cost 140 Rub, might be an extra charge for a big luggage of 50 Rub. Whole 110 km drive would take you about one hour.
Those 14 seats minivans have sign “Иркутск-Слюдянка” on the windshield. While boarding to the van please show for the driver this (“Култук”, spells like “Kultuk”) marking your destination (this is a easy remarkable bus stop right after the long downhill serpentine road descending to the southern extremity of Lake Baikal).
From here on, facing to the Lake Baikal you need to go left leaving the settlement and following shore line and rails of the CircumBaikal railroad. Follow small dirt track near by the rails for about 1 km until you will see the sign of BaikalCamp. Our campsite located at the picturesque cape covered with birch forest right at the cost of Lake Baikal.

2. By local train from Irkutsk city
Local train Irkutsk-Sludyanka departs eastwards daily around 8:30 AM from a central train station. You need to buy a ticket to the station ЗЕМЛЯНИЧНЫЙ, spells like “Zemlyanichniy”, approx. ticket price about 50 Rub, no extra charge for a luggage]. Ticket office is right next to the main subway city entrance, number of platform could be different, so follow majority of the people getting into the subway around 8:30 AM. Train ride would be about 3 hours. Around noon or a bit earlier you will pass long railroad tunnel, first one if you are heading from Irkutsk city. Your stop is right after the tunnel. This is a small Trans-Sib station connected by small walking downhill trail with Kultuk settlement. Once you've manage to get down to Lake Baikal and Kultuk village you need to turn left, leave the settlement and walk on a small dirt track near by the rails of CircumBaikal rail line about 1 km until you will see the sign of BaikalCamp. Our campsite located at the picturesque cape covered with birch forest right at the cost of Lake Baikal.
